Searl leads the Asset Management platform at Forgestone, and is responsible for the overall stewardship of a multi-faceted national portfolio, on behalf of our institutional and private partners and investors. Searl focuses on building close working relationships and strategically guiding the team’s pursuit of maximizing asset performance, diligent project execution and prudent risk management.
As a member of Forgestone’s senior leadership team, Searl also plays an active role in spearheading the optimization of the company’s operating capabilities, ESG programs and the advancement of various tactical initiatives to drive business strategies.
Prior to joining Forgestone, Searl spent 10 years in a senior capacity within the disciplines of Asset and Property Management, at a nationally focused advisory and capital firm with over $8 billion of assets under management. He played a key role in the successful implementation of acquisition, development, value add re-positioning and opportunistic disposition mandates within a large-scale portfolio of institutional grade assets.
Searl has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
